Man... Its freakin like 20 something degrees outside!

And let me tell you... having boost in this freakin cold air is unholy! eek First gear is a complete joke. Giving any kind of gas above like 1500RPM completely blows the tires off and you just hit the rev-limiter. Giving any kind of boost above 2500RPM in 2nd was lighting em up like crazy too! biggrin

    bbbbbbbrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

    hehe... I loved it.

So then I decided to get on the highway for a little bit... biggrin 3rd gear!!! eek The pull from 5-8K RPM is sooooo freakin insane. It feels so un-natural.

I was having too much fun to let it end there. So I did something I dont normally do. I shifted hard into 4th. The car LEAPED forward as the ACT extreme grabbed. And the pulling just continued non-stop! I'm serious when I say it felt like one of the Star Wars ships going into warp speed.

Whew... that was fun. Ok.. car is still idling in garage. Hearing the APEX N1 taming the turbo exhaust into a low growl on the other side of the wall is quite satisfying as well. Better go shut it off now. God I love my car. biggrin

Man Mark, that is pretty cruel ya know. There is so much snow on the ground up here that I have to start off in 3rd gear frown Myh winter car is getting a new radiator so I have to drive the teg through this crap. Maybe if the roads are ever clear I can enjoy some of the fun you are, until then. 3rd and 4th are the only gears I need wink

Haha... I knew you guys could relate. biggrin

Rafe: I have Pirelli P700Z's in 205/50R15 on my stock 95 GS-R wheels. They REALLY don't like this cold weather. It was like 21 degrees this morning and it felt like I was spinning the top of 3rd gear getting on the highway. It wasn't squeeling, but past 5K RPM it started slipping to redline and I started drifting into the shoulder! eek

Javin and you guys with snow. Don't feel bad. It's on its way here now. That's why I had to run the GS-R wild last night. wink

Snow? What's that? I believe last time we had snow was at least 40 years ago in Orange County. Sub-40 degree weather, what's that? Last time I felt anything remotely close was in the 90s. I think anything around 50 degrees, people start complaining. biggrin

    Talking

I can definitely relate! I knew the major snow storm was going to hit, so I went out for one last blast around on the relatively dry roads last Sunday night. Now I can only talk about doing it and remember what it was like... wink
